Since 2000, we have grown into one of Europe’s most experienced renewable energy asset managers with €2.7bn in assets under management, 103 wind and solar PV parks, and nine closed-end funds with target returns achieved or exceeded across the board. Behind this track record: 150 professionals managing the entire value chain in-house, from sourcing and structuring to active asset management.
As a fully integrated asset manager, we manage investments across their entire lifecycle and turn our portfolio of operating assets into a proprietary off-market pipeline for value creation through repowering, hybridization and AI-driven optimization. We deliberately refrain from third-party management, keeping full responsibility for every dimension of our investments in-house.

CYCAP is not just a new name: CYCAP makes our strategy visible. And that strategy has been the same for 25 years: Capital, Assets and People, consistently integrated, across the entire lifecycle.
Our investment approach
Renewable energy is an essential part of infrastructure. We invest in wind, solar PV, and battery storage and actively improve our assets throughout their lifecycle. Since our establishment in 2000, we have invested in over 100 assets with a total capacity of 2.2 GW(p) through nine fund vehicles.
Strategies
Based on our proven core investment approach, CYCAP also offers core plus and value-add investment strategies. We invest in renewable energy assets in Europe and focus on attractive, stable cash flows. With core plus and value-add, investors also benefit from specific value enhancement through hybridization and repowering.
Acquisition
We identify investments on-market and off-market based on our own portfolio. Capital decisions, technical reviews, and ESG assessments are executed entirely by in-house experts.
Operations
Commercial and technical operations management from a single source. Over 150 experts are responsible for the ongoing management of 103 wind and solar PV assets with an installed capacity of 2.2 GW(p).
Optimization
Active portfolio management through ongoing monitoring, refinancing, and optimized power marketing. Supported by our proprietary AI applications in contract management, reporting, and risk analysis.
Value Creation
Assets are continuously optimized during operation, and existing sites are consistently developed through hybridization and repowering. We utilize existing grid connections, infrastructure, and approval histories. This is CYCAP’s structural advantage.
